After the death of his parents, Lewis is taken in by his magician uncle, Jonathan, and grows up in a world of wonder. The two live in a house haunted by a clock, next door to their neighbor, Mrs. Zimmerman, who is also a magician. But the clock’s original owner, Isaac Izard, is a warlock determined to reclaim his possession—one said to hold the power to bring about the end of the world.
