Wendat Cultural Day

This year, the Hôtel de Glace is deepening its connection to the land it calls home by renewing its collaboration with Tourisme Wendake. An exclusive cultural day will be offered, highlighting the traditions, art, and stories of the Wendat Nation. Through immersive activities, visitors will be invited to discover a rich and living heritage, at the heart of the icy wonderland.
Myths and Legends:
Dive into the fascinating world of traditional Wendat stories, inspired by Indigenous oral traditions. These ancestral tales explore the creation of Mother Earth, the Pleiades, and other foundational stories passed down through generations.
An iconic Wendake activity, suitable for both children and adults.
Presentation:
Hosted by Isabelle Sioui, Wendat, who will welcome you in the Grand Hall of the Hôtel de Glace, drum in hand, to speak about her Nation and share the pride of her cultural heritage.
A daytime Hôtel de Glace ticket is required to attend the event. Free access for overnight guests.
