Gargamel, along with his cat Azrael, is up to his old tricks again. He has discovered the Smurfs’ hidden village, forcing them to flee. And as misfortune never comes alone, several of these tiny blue beings, only three apples tall, are swept into a vortex that transports them straight to New York City. While searching for a way back home, Papa Smurf, Smurfette, and the rest of the family come across the Winslows, who will help them find their way. But they must beware of Gargamel, who is also in the Big Apple and determined to strengthen his magical powers.
