Woody, Andy’s favorite toy, feels threatened by the arrival of Buzz Lightyear, a space‑ranger toy who believes he’s on an actual mission. Jealous, Woody puts Buzz’s life in danger in an attempt to get rid of him. Overcome with guilt and rejected by the other toys, Woody sets out to rescue Buzz, who has been taken in by Sid, a young neighbor who treats his toys terribly.
