Synopsis: Shrek, a green, cynical, and mischievous ogre, lives in a swamp he considers a peaceful haven. One morning, as he goes about his routine, he discovers a group of annoying little creatures wandering through his swamp. Shrek then goes to the castle of Lord Farquaad, who is said to have banished these beings from his kingdom. Farquaad wishes to marry Princess Fiona, but she is being held captive by a fearsome dragon. He needs a brave knight to rescue her, and Shrek agrees to take on the mission. In exchange, Farquaad must rid Shrek’s swamp of the invasive creatures. However, Princess Fiona hides a terrifying secret that will lead Shrek and his companion, Donkey, into an exciting and perilous adventure.
