Merida is the rebellious, adventurous daughter of the King of Scotland. She would much rather practice archery in the forest than learn how to be a proper princess at the castle, much to her mother’s dismay. When the queen forces her to choose her future husband from among the sons of the kingdom’s lords, Merida turns to the powers of an old witch to brew a spell that might change her mother’s mind. But the spell doesn’t quite have the intended effect, and the fiery redhead must face great dangers to keep the kingdom from falling into chaos.
