COVID-19 - Vaccination Passport
The vaccination passport, with an official ID, is now mandatory for all stays at Hôtel Valcartier. Tourists who do not reside in Quebec must show official ID with photo and address outside Quebec, as well as official proof of vaccination provided by their country or Canadian province, attesting that they have received two doses of a recognized vaccin. A deposit equal to 50% of the full amount of your stay, plus applicable taxes, is required upon reservation.
Up to 72 hours before your stay the reservation can be canceled without penalty. The 50% deposit taken at the time of booking will be refunded on the credit car on file. Less than 72 hours before your stay the entire stay will be charged and no refund or modification possible.

From 6 days until 72 hours before your stay the 50% deposit taken at the time of booking is no longer refundable. A change of date is permitted for the same number of nights or more. Less than 72 hours before your stay the entire stay will be charged and no refund or modification possible.

- A valid photo ID and a credit card are required upon check-in.
- Minimum age for booking : 18 years old
- Prices are in canadian dollar, plus applicable taxes.
High season refers to the following dates
- Winter Season: December 17th, 2021, to March 20th, 2022, inclusive
- Summer Season: June 9th to September 5th, 2022, inclusive
- Winter Season: December 16th, 2022, to March 19th, 2023, inclusive
Low season means the following dates
Any date outside the high season dates listed above.
A credit card is required to make a reservation. We do not accept prepaid credit cards or debit cards.
We may block funds corresponding to the estimated full amount of your stay on your credit card at noon on the day of your arrival to verify the validity of your card.
If your credit card is deemed invalid, the hotel reserves the right to cancel your reservation.
Other policies and terms
Rates are established based on the date of arrival and the duration of the stay. A 200$ security deposit on a credit card will be mandatory upon arrival. These funds can not be released until 72 hours after the date of your departure, or later at the discretion of the institution issuing your card. In special case, we accept the payment in debit card. Should you decide to leave earlier than expected, you may be charged a fee depending on when you notify us of your decision.
We reserve the right to cancel or change reservations where it appears that the client is engaging in fraudulent or inappropriate activities, or where it appears that reservations contain or result from an error.
Additional clean-up fees will be charged for rooms left in an excessively dirty condition. Please note that all of our rooms are non-smoking and that failure to comply with this policy will incur costs involved with thoroughly cleaning the room.
The amounts listed on your reservation include applicable taxes and fees, but do not include additional fees that could be incurred during your stay. Dollar amounts are in Canadian dollars (CAD).
